Work Experience

Developer 2017 – Ongoing, PayEx Norge AS

Work as a full time developer with work involving back-end development of micro-services using the Spring Boot framework.
Everyday job tasks involve improving existing services, as well as to plan and develop on new and innovative solutions to push our company ahead of the competition.
Time and task management is done using JIRA and Scrum as the primary tools, with developers having a great amount of freedom to influence and improve our services. Overall it is a great place to work.


Bachelor in Computer Science 2013 – 2016, The Arctic University of Norway, Narvik

Within the years of my Bachelor’s degree, I have gained basic understanding with Networking, Server Operations, Databases, Web- and App development on both PC and Mobile devices and Systems development and programming. My strongest courses were software- and game development – both skills of which I hone and study to this day today.

Extra Curricular Activities

VICE-PRESIDENT Narvik University College – Students Society (NSS) Oct 2013 – Nov 2014

Elected with over 80% of the votes. NSS aims to provide general entertainment for students outside of college-work. This is done primarily through each individual clubs, but there is much maintenance and work that is not part of a single club. NSS is an umbrella organization for those clubs. I ended up taking the acting role as President when the president became unavailable for the last 6 months or so.

PRESIDENT Narvik University College – “Stærk(ar)” (Club) Dec 2012 – Feb 2016

During my first year in college Preparatory Course, I was elected President of Stærk(ar), a weightlifting club. My work includes maintenance of the gym (equipment, room, etc.), handling the economy with our finance manager, setting up promotional campaigns to inform students about the club, and making sure every member have a good time exercising in our club.

ELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBER Narvik University College – SPiN Nov 2012 – 2014

I took part in scouting and advertising for various positions in SPiN organization – the student parliament. This includes active involvement with the SPiN board activities, which only increased after my first year due to trouble finding replacements for the election committee members that left mid-term. I was available as a mentor for new election committee members by the end.

Indie Project Experiences

Castle Baloneybeard Roles: Project owner, programmer URL: https://tybobobo.itch.io/castle-baloneybeard A puzzle game where you take control of the castle owner Baloneybeard in search of lost baloney. It was made under 9 days during a game-jam in cooperation with an artist. The game was based of the design from Chip’s Challenge (1989). My work included:

• Establishing core design

• All programming and problem solving related tasks

 Prioritizing design choices: Due to limited time constraints in the game jam, I had to estimate and plan ahead for what we could consider be realistic expectations.

• Level design (4+): It was our wish to create more levels, however time was running short and we had to cover our ends. Level 1-3 are based directly of Chip’s Adventure.


FlappyTurd Roles: Project owner, programmer, artist URL: http://gamejolt.com/games/flappyturd/79709 You take control of a little turd that you have to carefully navigate through obstacles without getting hit. It was made in order to get familiar with the Unity engine. The game is based of the design from Flappy Bird (2013). My work included:

• Implementing GameJolt API for adding high scores

• All programming and problem solving related tasks
